how the coaching works

Coaching sessions are non-directive and inquiry-led, drawing on the Essential Impact methodology of high calibre coaching questions and methodologies.

Sessions adapt to what the client brings and typically move through five modes of inquiry:

​

  • Engage – establishing presence and awareness

  • Enlighten – surfacing insight and meaning

  • Empower – clarifying choice and agency

  • Excel – supporting aligned leadership behaviour

  • Evolve – integrating learning and supporting forward movement

​

The agenda is always client-led. The coach’s role is to create the conditions for insight, clarity, and intentional action.

THE FIELD GUIDE
(SUPPORT BETWEEN SESSIONS)

Clients receive access to their personalized Field Guide, a private companion offered through our intuitive Elevate Learning platform and designed to support reflection and integration between sessions based on the topics discussed in our 1:1 sessions.

​

The guide could include:

  • leadership perspectives on mindfulness, emotional intelligence, values-based leadership, trust, psychological safety, attention, and creativity

  • reflective prompts and strategic planning frameworks or toolkits

  • optional guided practices and resources

​

The Field Guide is supportive as context, not prescriptive. Some clients use it extensively. Others rarely open it. Both approaches are valid.

Lina Bil is a 🇨🇦 Founder & Entrepreneur | People, Culture, Purpose & Belonging Consultant | Executive & Leadership Coach | Fractional CHRO with over 15 years of experience working alongside leaders, executives, and organizations operating in high-responsibility environments. Her work focuses on strengthening decision quality, leadership presence, and long-term effectiveness in the face of evolving demands.

​

She brings a distinctive blend of analytical rigour and insight, grounded in a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UBC and an MBA from Athabasca University with a specialization in Mindful Leadership, along with her CPHR designation. Lina is currently completing her Certified Leadership Coach (CLC) designation through Essential Impact by the summer of 2026 and working toward her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential with the International Coaching Federation.

​

Her coaching practice is informed by organizational psychology, behavioural science, and mindful leadership principles. It is rooted in the belief that sustainable change emerges not from advice, but from self-generated insight and aligned action.

​

Prior to establishing Lina Bil Coaching, Lina founded a successful HR consulting firm Elevate Talent Solutions, advising organizations on leadership transitions, organizational design, people strategy, and culture transformation. This experience provides her with a grounded understanding of the real pressures leaders face, including competing priorities, resource constraints, stakeholder expectations, and the cumulative weight of decision-making.

​

Her coaching approach is non-directive, inquiry-led, and anchored in real-world leadership contexts. She creates a 100% confidential, focused space where clients can think clearly, challenge assumptions, and arrive at their own insights. The work is practical without being transactional, and reflective without losing momentum.

​

Lina adheres to the standards and ethical guidelines of the International Coaching Federation, ensuring a professional, confidential, and client-centred coaching experience.

​

She works with leaders who value integrity, depth, and thoughtful decision-making, and who recognize that sustainable leadership effectiveness begins with clarity.
